Jr. Network Engineer

Position Summary Candidates must be able to successfully complete a federal background investigation and maintain eligibility for access to government systems and facilities The Junior Network Administrator supports enterprise network operations and assists senior network personnel in maintaining reliable and secure network infrastructure. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor network systems and respond to network performance issues. Assist with troubleshooting routers, switches, hubs, and related devices. Support installation and maintenance of network hardware and software. Perform routine network monitoring and operational checks. Escalate critical issues to senior network administration staff. Maintain accurate records of network incidents and corrective actions. Assist with infrastructure upgrades and technology refresh activities. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of four (4) years of networking experience. Basic understanding of enterprise networking concepts and technologies. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Preferred Certifications. CompTIA Network+ Certification may substitute for one year of experience Show more Show less
