Junior Scrum Master

This is a contract role 5X a week onsite in downtown San Diego. Please do not apply if you aren't comfortable with that! Responsibilities: Facilitate Agile ceremonies: standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives Support Scrum teams delivering data & analytics initiatives (data pipelines, reporting, AI/ML) Remove blockers and manage cross-team dependencies Track sprint progress (velocity, burndown, KPIs) and report updates Partner with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders on priorities and delivery Identify risks/bottlenecks and drive resolution Coach teams on Agile best practices and continuous improvement Ensure clear communication between technical teams and business stakeholders Top Skills 2–5 years as a Scrum Master or Agile PM Hands-on experience running Scrum teams and ceremonies Exposure to data, analytics, or AI-driven projects Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and SDLC Experience removing blockers and managing dependencies Strong communication and stakeholder management Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools Nice to Have Manufacturing or industrial environment experience SAFe / Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM) Experience supporting multiple teams or programs Show more Show less
