Kubernetes Engineer
Description
We’re looking for a highly skilled OpenShift/Kubernetes Engineer who goes beyond day-to-day operations and truly understands platform internals and how things work under the hood . If you’re passionate about building and optimizing container platforms—not just maintaining them—this is the role for you. Pay rate: $45/hour W2. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. 🔧 What You’ll Do Design, build, and support robust OpenShift/Kubernetes (OCP 4.x preferred) platforms Implement and manage secrets (native Kubernetes + external solutions like Vault) Develop and support container build pipelines (S2I, BuildConfigs, CI/CD) Troubleshoot complex cluster, networking, and application deployment issues Partner with teams to improve platform reliability and developer experience ✅ What We’re Looking For Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift (OCP 4.x) and Kubernetes Deep understanding of secrets management and container build processes Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and container image creation Ability to clearly explain how systems work , not just operate them ⭐ Nice to Have Experience with Vault or other external secrets management tools Background in platform engineering or developer enablement Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, an EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
