Kubernetes Engineer - Portworx

CMK Resources is hiring for a premier enterprise partner seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes Storage Engineer with deep Portworx expertise to support large scale infrastructure modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands on experience with Portworx Enterprise, Kubernetes infrastructure, Linux administration, and container platform migrations. This individual will serve as a key operational resource helping drive stability, troubleshooting, modernization, and platform transformation initiatives. Responsibilities Support and maintain enterprise Kubernetes and OpenShift environments Serve as a Portworx operational resident engineer supporting PX Enterprise deployments Assist with Kubernetes migration efforts across complex production environments Troubleshoot Kubernetes, container, storage, and Linux related issues Work across Red Hat Linux and Ubuntu based environments Collaborate with infrastructure and platform engineering teams on modernization initiatives Support operational best practices for containerized workloads and storage platforms Participate in architecture discussions, deployment planning, and migration strategies Assist with infrastructure optimization, monitoring, and platform reliability efforts Required Qualifications Strong hands on experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift environments Experience supporting Kubernetes migrations in enterprise environments Deep experience with Portworx Enterprise (PX Enterprise) is required Strong Linux administration experience across both Red Hat Linux and Ubuntu Excellent Kubernetes and Linux troubleshooting skills Experience working in production containerized environments Strong understanding of storage concepts within Kubernetes ecosystems Preferred Qualifications Experience with Spectro Cloud Experience or strong theoretical understanding of KubeVirt, including building and forklifting VMs Additional OpenShift platform experience Experience supporting dual stack networking and IPv6 environments AWS cloud experience Exposure to Kafka and/or Elastic environments Additional Information Enterprise level modernization initiative Opportunity to work on advanced Kubernetes and storage technologies at scale Show more Show less
