Kubernetes Platform Engineer

Python / Kubernetes Platform Engineer Location:- Chandler, AZ, Phoenix, AZ Experience: 9+yrs Key Responsibilities Design, build, and manage Kubernetes-based platform environments. Develop and support platform services, automation, and infrastructure tooling. Administer and optimize Kubernetes platforms such as OpenShift, VKS, or Rancher. Automate operational tasks using Python, Ansible, or Shell scripting. Implement platform reliability, scalability, security, and monitoring best practices. Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and engineering teams to support platform operations. Required Skills 7–8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or DevOps. Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes platforms (OpenShift, VKS, Rancher, or similar). Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Python, Ansible, or Shell. Experience managing production Kubernetes environments. Strong Linux and infrastructure fundamentals. Good understanding of networking, security, and platform operations. Preferred Skills Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience building internal platform services, automation frameworks, or developer platforms. Note: This is a platform-focused role rather than application development.
