Laboratory Technician

Lab Technician Responsibilities: Perform laboratory testing and analysis while following established procedures and maintaining safe work practices. Promote safety, housekeeping, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency within the work area. Ensure testing activities are completed accurately and in accordance with applicable methods and quality standards. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and internal stakeholders regarding testing status, priorities, and special requests. Identify and troubleshoot issues, collaborating with others to resolve problems and maintain workflow. Review and verify test data for accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and assist in identifying root causes of nonconforming results. Document, maintain, and enter data into spreadsheets, databases, or other laboratory information systems. Coordinate sample handling and facilitate efficient movement of materials throughout the laboratory. Manage multiple priorities and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to overall laboratory performance. Lab Technician Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or another science-related field preferred. Previous laboratory experience in an industrial, manufacturing, research, or quality environment preferred. Familiarity with quality systems or laboratory standards is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn laboratory software and data management systems. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently after training and collaborate effectively within a team environment. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
