Your responsibilities will include:preparing legal advice/documents in respect of parenting orders, divorces, restraining orders, spousal support, and child support as provided under the available scope of services within the New Brunswick Legal Aid Services Commission (Family Law services);providing legal services to respondents in child protection matters;preparing affidavits and briefs;interviewing witnesses;meeting with clients;attending court;researching points of law; andcompleting other duties as assigned.Who you areYour attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:Need to have (Essential qualifications and skills)Bachelor of Law DegreeMembership in good standing or eligibility for membership with the Law Society of New BrunswickCompletion of ArticlingPlease state your date of admission to a Canadian Law Society.Written and spoken competence in English and French is required.
