Lead Nurse Practitioner

The Lead Provider, NP, oversees daily operations of an occupational health clinic at a shipyard, ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are met within the BOS framework. Diagnose, treat, and manage work-related injuries and illnesses for employees. Perform medical surveillance, physical exams, and case reviews for exposure programs and safety initiatives. Supervise and support Nurse Practitioners, delegate tasks, and coordinate staffing and scheduling. Monitor patient flow and triage efficiency with clinical staff. Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Nursing, current Maine APN license, at least 5 years of NP experience, managerial background, and occupational health experience preferred. Ability to maneuver through the shipyard and participate in Sea Trials is required. The position offers a salary of $140,000–$155,000 annually, with benefits such as 401(k), health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
