Lead Penetration Tester Opportunity Location: 100% Remote (USA) Type: Contract-to-Hire Overview We're partnering with a leading healthcare technology organisation that's looking for a Lead Penetration Tester to help shape and mature its offensive security capability across medical devices and embedded systems. This isn't your typical web application penetration testing role. You'll be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities across hardware, firmware and software, while helping to establish internal penetration testing standards and processes within a highly regulated environment. If you're passionate about embedded security, ethical hacking and making a real-world impact on products used in healthcare, this is an opportunity to take ownership and influence security at scale. What You'll Be Doing Perform penetration testing across medical devices, embedded systems and connected products. Simulate real-world attacks to identify security vulnerabilities and improve product resilience. Develop and improve internal penetration testing methodologies, standards and best practices. Partner closely with engineering teams to communicate findings and support remediation efforts. Produce clear technical reports with actionable security recommendations. Contribute to security and compliance initiatives within a regulated healthcare environment. Help build a repeatable and scalable penetration testing capability across the organisation. What We're Looking For Proven experience in Penetration Testing. Strong understanding of embedded systems, firmware or IoT security. Experience testing hardware, software or connected devices. Ability to clearly communicate vulnerabilities and remediation strategies to technical teams. Experience working in regulated industries such as medical devices, healthcare, automotive or industrial IoT is highly desirable. OSCP certification is highly preferred.
