Lead Technical Architect

What You'll Be Doing Design, build, and deploy agentic AI and LLM-based solutions using the SoundHound Amelia platform and AWS. Develop and optimize AI agents, prompts, tool/function integrations, guardrails, and orchestration workflows . Build and integrate REST APIs, MCP (Model Context Protocol) services, and third-party enterprise systems . Design and implement AWS-based solutions using services such as: Lambda API Gateway S3 IAM CloudWatch EventBridge/SQS/Step Functions Create Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation). Support deployments, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production operations. Mentor engineers and contribute to architecture decisions and engineering standards. Required Background 6+ years of software engineering, cloud engineering, or AI development experience (4+ years with a Master's degree). Proven experience personally building and shipping production systems . Hands-on experience with: Agentic AI / LLM applications Prompt engineering Tool/function calling Multi-agent workflows RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) Strong AWS experience, especially: Lambda API Gateway S3 IAM CloudWatch Infrastructure as Code Strong REST API design and integration experience. Experience with MCP or similar AI tool/service orchestration frameworks. Proficiency in at least two programming languages (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Go, etc.). Experience with Git, CI/CD, and cloud-based troubleshooting. Nice to Have (Not Required) SoundHound Amelia experience (training provided). Conversational AI platforms such as Kore.ai, Cognigy, Dialogflow, Rasa, Amazon Lex, or Bedrock. Healthcare/HIPAA experience. AWS certifications. ServiceNow, Microsoft Entra/Azure AD, or voice/telephony integrations.
