Job Title: Experienced Line Cook Company: Little Corner Sandwich Shop & Cowichan Links Bar and Grill Location: Duncan, BC Job Type: Full-time Job Overview We?re looking for an experienced Line Cook to join the team at Little Corner Sandwich Shop and Links Bar and Grill. This is a shared role across both restaurants. We already have cooks in place ? what we need is another solid, experienced person who can come in and contribute right away. Breakfast experience is a strong plus for Little Corner, but it?s not the only focus. At Links you?ll be cooking from the regular menu as well as supporting catering for events and private functions. If you have real kitchen experience, good food standards, and can work clean and consistently on the line, we?d like to hear from you. Responsibilities * Cook menu items to standard at both Little Corner and Cowichan Links Bar and Grill * Support breakfast service at Little Corner (experience here is helpful) * Cook from the Links menu during regular service * Prep and execute catering for Links events, private parties, and group functions * Maintain quality, consistency, and timing across both daily service and catering * Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly * Follow proper food handling and food safety procedures * Help with prep, stock rotation, and basic inventory awareness * Work well with the existing team Qualifications * Solid previous experience as a Line Cook or similar kitchen role * Food Safe Certificate * Comfortable cooking a full menu, not just one station * Breakfast experience is a plus, but not required * Catering or event cooking experience is an asset * Strong food safety knowledge and clean work habits * Ability to work efficiently under pressure and keep standards high * Reliable, positive, and able to work well with the team * Able to stand for long periods and handle the physical side of kitchen work What We?re Looking For We?re not starting from scratch ? we need an experienced cook who can come in, contribute right away, and help keep both kitchens running smoothly. Someone who can handle regular menu cooking at Links, support breakfast at Little Corner, and step up for catering when needed. Compensation Wage is based on experience and will be competitive.
