Responsibilities: * Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices * Assist with meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of the Head Chef * Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in taste and presentation * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area * Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times * Monitor food quality and freshness, rotating stock as necessary * Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow * Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed * Closing down the kitchen line at the end of the night according to UNA standards Skills: * Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service setting * Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment operation * Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices * Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills * Strong communication and teamwork abilities If you are passionate about cooking delicious meals, have experience in the food industry, and thrive in a dynamic restaurant environment, we invite you to apply for the position of Cook.
