Linux System Administrator

We’re seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to manage and optimize Linux infrastructure across on-prem and AWS environments. This role focuses on automation, security, system upgrades, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities Deploy and maintain Linux servers (physical, virtual, AWS) Automate provisioning using Ansible Manage patching, upgrades (RHEL), and system performance Design and support AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS) Identify and remediate vulnerabilities Use ServiceNow/JIRA for incident and change management Monitor systems and resolve complex issues Maintain documentation and support on-call rotation Minimum qualifications 5+ years Linux admin experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) Experience with AWS and Ansible Strong troubleshooting and scripting skills (Bash/Python) Knowledge of vulnerability management and networking Experience with ServiceNow and virtualization tools Preferred qualifications AWS or Linux certifications Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD Familiarity with security frameworks and monitoring tools Red Hat Satellite experience Rate: $60-80/HR Show more Show less
