Live-In Caregiver ? British Properties, West Vancouver About the Role A warm, family-oriented household in the British Properties (West Vancouver) is looking for an experienced, compassionate live-in caregiver for our father, age 91. He is kind, warm, well-travelled, and deeply family-oriented ? he lights up around his grandchildren, who live close by and visit often. He uses a wheelchair and needs support with daily transfers and personal care, but remains engaged, social, and enjoys good conversation. This is a genuinely supported caregiving role, not a solo one. Family is closely involved day-to-day, a daughter covers the afternoon shift and rotating days off, and a professional cleaner comes in weekly to help with the heavier housekeeping. You won't be carrying this alone. Schedule * Shift: 8:00 AM ? 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM ? 8:00 PM, six days per week (afternoons 1?5 PM covered by family) * Day off: One full day off per week, covered by family * Backup coverage: Family is on hand for coverage during illness, appointments, or time off * Live-in accommodation: Private, comfortable bedroom with a private (not ensuite) bathroom * Responsibilities * Transfers and mobility assistance (wheelchair) * Toileting and personal care * Meal preparation and mealtime assistance * Medication reminders * Laundry and light housekeeping (weekly cleaner handles deeper cleaning) * Warm, attentive companionship Send your resume, references, and a short note about your caregiving experience on WhatsApp to 604-551-2951.
