What You'll Do: ? Operate and drive articulated (tractor-trailer) trucks to transport goods and materials over long distances ? Load and unload goods, tarp and secure cargo ? Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections ? Carry out preventive maintenance as needed ? Maintain accurate driver logbooks, trip reports, hours of service records, and fuel/distance logs ? Communicate with central dispatch and relay updates as needed ? Deliver excellent, professional customer service at all times What We're Looking For: ? Valid Class 1/1F/A driver's licence ? 2?3 years of driving experience ? High school diploma or equivalent ? Clean driving record and ability to pass a criminal record check and drug test ? Comfortable with GPS/navigation systems ? Willing to travel for extended periods, including overnight ? Physically able to handle demanding work, including lifting up to 45 kg (100 lbs) ? Own steel-toed safety boots ?
