In Lucid Air and Lucid Gravity, we have designed and built vehicles that have redefined their segments, combining exceptional range, performance, design, and expansive space in a single experience.  We achieve this through deep vertical integration, with design, engineering, and production happening in-house across our global offices and manufacturing facilities. Our teams come from industries around the world, united by a shared commitment to excellence. By refusing to settle, you can help redefine what's possible and shape the future of mobility.</div>Position Overview: To ensure accurate and timely assistance on Freight and Tariffs cost planning, variance analysis, budgeting, and inventory valuation while working closely with cross-functional teams to drive cost efficiency and operational excellence.   Key Responsibilities:  - Transportation Finance:  <ul> <li>Prepare and maintain Inventory, Freight & Duty cost for inbound and Outbound.</li> <li>Coordinate with logistics & procurement teams to ensure D2D freight is accurate & optimal.</li> <li>Analyze cost deviations and provide inputs for corrective actions.</li> </ul>   -  Budgeting & Forecasting:  <ul> <li>Assist in preparation of Long term plan, annual budgets and rolling forecasts.</li> <li>Collect and analyze inputs from logistics and supply chain for cost projections.</li> <li>Monitor adherence to budgeted costs and flag potential overruns through KPI's</li> </ul>   - Cost Variance Analysis:  <ul> <li>Track and report Inventory, inbound, outbound freight and tariffs variances.</li> <li>Assist in root-cause analysis of significant cost variances.</li> <li>Support monthly plant performance reporting related to cost KPIs.</li> </ul>   - New Product Costing Support: <ul> <li>Work with NPD, Logistics teams to provide landed cost estimates.</li> <li>Help prepare business cases and track cost evolution through design phases.</li> <li>Validate cost targets based on internal benchmarks and market trends.</li> </ul>   - Cost Reporting & MIS:  <ul> <li>Prepare regular freight and tariff reports and dashboards.</li> <li>Present cost trend analysis, savings, and localization benefits.</li> <li>Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to logistics team.</li> </ul>   - Data Integrity & ERP Costing Module:  <ul> <li>Maintain accuracy of costing data in ERP (SAP CO module).</li> <li>Assist in setting up networks and routings for new products.</li> <li>Perform periodic audits of cost master data for completeness and accuracy.</li> </ul>   Qualifications Required:  <ul> <li>10–15 years of experience in product costing or plant finance roles in manufacturing; automotive/EV experience preferred.</li> <li>Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Excel-based analysis.</li> <li>CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.</li> </ul>   Skills Required:  <ul> <li>Strong understanding of inventory, Inbound and Outbound principles and cost drivers.</li> <li>Good analytical and data interpretation skills.</li> <li>Proactive and detail-oriented with a focus on execution.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><div> Compensation & Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive <a href="https://mylucidbenefits.com/">benefits package</a> including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays; and a 401(k) retirement plan.
