Job description OLON INDUSTRIES INC., has a great opportunity for you! We are currently recruiting for a MATERIAL HANDLER to join our diverse production team. OLON offers stability of work, benefits and a four-day work week (10-hour shift Monday-Thursday 6am - 4:30pm). PURPOSE OF POSITION: To safely transport material in a timely manner to the production area while feeding the production area with product to ensure continuous production of all equipment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Complete a forklift inspection before, during and at completion of the shift, * Transport material to and from the production area to appropriate locations, * Load and unload trucks, * Cycle count the stocked inventory, * Assist with strapping safety stock, * Removing garbage from work areas, * Be cautions of all work surroundings, * Perform quality inspections on incoming goods such as, but not limited to, raw material, * Coordinate material for production flow, * Complete and submit appropriate paperwork such as, but not limited to, packaging slips, * Ensure first in and first our procedures are followed for raw material SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: * Good organizational skills * Work with minimal supervision * Ability to work with minimal supervision * Strong communication skills * Comprehension of written documentation PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF JOB: * Able to work the assigned shift * Must be able to lift and carry 20lbs on a frequent basis and 50lbs on occasion Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $23.00 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care Experience: * Material Handler: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Forklift Licence (required) Work Location: In person
