Description
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Repair and maintain machinery. Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications. Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials. Computer-aided design (CAD). Design tools, moulds, jigs and fixtures. Estimate costs and materials. Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications. Test machines and equipment. Create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings with computer-aided design (CAD). Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD). Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
