ANTICIPATED END DATE: 11 Aug 2028JOB PURPOSEThe Laboratory System Information Analyst is responsible for supporting the Laboratory Information System (LIS). Work involves performing system maintenance and troubleshooting, as well as providing user support.QUALIFICATIONS Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Laboratory Technology, holding a practicing (non-temporary) Licensed and in good standing with the New Brunswick Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists Minimum of one (1) year of related experience.Ability to attend work on a regular basis.Ability to perform the duties of the position.Good work record. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLABORATORY INFORMATION SYSTEM MAINTENANCE Create/modify lab orders in Laboratory Information System. Support the interfacing of new instruments. Assist with process improvement. Manage security access for laboratory employees. Troubleshoot Laboratory Information System.QUALITY CONTROL Validate updates and upgrades. Investigate errors. Gather and provide statistics. Ensure technology and laboratory services are current. Participate in the maintenance of procedures and policies.COLLABORATION Collaborate with Information Services. Support Laboratory Information System needs of Laboratory Managers.
