About The Role The role owns the end-to-end development, performance, and reliability of native mobile applications reaching millions of active users daily on iOS and Android. The engineering team collaborates closely with product managers and designers to build fluid, high-performance interfaces that bridge complex backend services with responsive client-side experiences. Key Responsibilities Architect, build, and maintain native mobile applications using Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java, ensuring exceptional UI responsiveness and low memory consumption Integrate native client code with robust REST and GraphQL APIs, managing local caching, offline persistence, and secure data synchronization Profile and optimize application performance, diagnosing memory leaks, UI rendering hitches, and unnecessary battery drain using platform profiling tools Design modular, testable application architectures using modern design patterns such as MVVM, Redux, or Clean Architecture Implement comprehensive automated unit, integration, and UI testing suites to maintain high code quality across release cycles Manage app store release pipelines, continuous integration workflows (CI/CD), and app distribution using tools like Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions What We Are Looking For 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on native iOS or Android development Deep expertise in either Swift/iOS frameworks or Kotlin/Android Jetpack libraries, with published applications available in the App Store or Google Play Solid understanding of mobile networking, multi-threading, concurrency models, and secure mobile data storage best practices Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and crash reporting analytics tools (e.g., Firebase, Sentry) BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience Bonus: Experience with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter, familiarity with GraphQL, or contributions to open-source mobile libraries
