In this role, you will own and drive internal IT projects, build out our Intune infrastructure, administer our Microsoft 365 environment, and manage one direct report. This is a results-driven position where success is measured by completed outcomes, not activity. You will work within our internal pod alongside two customer-facing teams, ensuring our own infrastructure and tooling keep pace with the standards we set for our clients. What You'll Be Doing Project Management and Execution Plan, scope, and deliver internal IT projects from kickoff through completion Manage timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder communication across concurrent initiatives Track and report on project milestones with clear accountability for outcomes Coordinate with customer-facing pods when internal projects intersect with client delivery Microsoft 365 and Cloud Administration Administer the Office1 Microsoft 365 tenant including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams Use Message Trace, Quarantine, and eDiscovery tools to resolve mail flow issues Create and enforce mail flow rules and manage mailbox migrations Manage Azure AD (Entra) identity, Conditional Access policies, and sign-in logs Maintain and interpret Azure permissions and licensing Intune and Endpoint Management Design and build out the Office1 Intune infrastructure for device enrollment, compliance, and configuration Create and manage device profiles, compliance policies, and application deployments Develop enrollment workflows for Windows, iOS, and macOS endpoints Establish and document standards for endpoint security and configuration baselines Team Leadership Directly manage one team member, including task assignment, coaching, and performance feedback Provide mentoring and technical guidance to develop your direct report's capabilities Set clear expectations tied to deliverables and outcomes What You Bring 2 to 4 years in IT infrastructure support 2+ years administering Microsoft 365 and Azure AD (Entra) 1+ year with Intune, Conditional Access, and cloud identity management Demonstrated project management ability with a track record of driving projects to completion Experience managing or mentoring at least one team member Self-directed work style with the ability to prioritize, plan, and execute without close supervision Curiosity about emerging technology, including familiarity with AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT (preferred) Experience with tools including Sophos, ConnectWise, Veeam, and Unifi Security+ (or equivalent) Microsoft certifications aligned to the role (AZ-104, MS-102) are strongly preferred Specialty Focus Areas (Preferred) All Network Engineers are expected to develop one or more specialties such as: Intune/JAMF Automation Office 365 Azure Security (EDR/AV) Onboarding Backup Infrastructure Design Firewalls Infrastructure Support Diversity Office1 believes we work more productively, and our jobs are more enjoyable, when our team includes members with a diversity of backgrounds and life experiences.
