Evaluates, diagnoses, monitors, and manages patients using advanced assessment skills and clinical therapeutics knowledge. Works under the supervision of a physician. Requirements include a postgraduate degree, advanced practice licensure, BLS, and ACLS. No prior experience is necessary. Skills needed encompass organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, analytical, and computer proficiency, particularly in medical record charting and Excel. Must manage stress, make decisions under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and work independently in various environments.
