Description
The Advance Practice Provider (APP), including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. They evaluate, diagnose, monitor, and manage patients using advanced assessment skills in collaboration with supervising physicians. Qualifications Post Graduate Degree Licensure as an Advanced Practice Clinician or Physician Assistant BLS and ACLS certifications Experience None required Skills Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions Proficiency in computer applications and medical record charting Mental & Emotional Requirements Manage stress and make decisions under pressure Handle multiple priorities and work independently Appropriately manage stressful or hostile situations Working Conditions Exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases Use of CRT monitor Physical Requirements Medium work involving prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and occasional exertion up to 50 lbs.
