Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB/GYN) Opportunity ? Hamilton, Ontario Are you an Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB/GYN) looking to provide comprehensive women's health care in a community-based clinic? Are you relocating to Ontario from another province or outside Canada and seeking a long-term opportunity to practise in Hamilton? If so, we'd love to hear from you. Clinical Expertise The successful candidate will have experience in providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care, including: * Management of low- and high-risk pregnancies * Antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care * Assessment and treatment of pelvic floor and endocrine disorders * Diagnosis and management of menstrual disorders and abnormal uterine bleeding * Management of gynecological conditions, including fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary dysfunction, cervical dysplasia, and gynecologic cancers * Care of pregnancies complicated by hypertension, bleeding disorders, diabetes, and other medical conditions * Management of multiple gestation pregnancies * Preventive women's health care, including cervical cancer screening and contraception counselling Employment Requirements Applicants must have: * Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) * Registration in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) * Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or eligibility for certification * Membership with the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) (preferred, if applicable) Candidates relocating from another province or outside Canada must be eligible for licensure with the CPSO and meet all applicable provincial registration requirements.
