Company Description Wonders Pediatric Therapy provides in-clinic, virtual, and in-home occupational therapy services to children throughout the East Bay. Wonders Pediatric Therapy focuses on family-centered care, collaborating closely with caregivers to support each child's growth and participation at home and in the community. Role Description We are open to both full-time and part-time OTs , with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week . Whether you are looking for a consistent full-time caseload or a more flexible schedule, we would love to connect with you. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating children's motor, sensory, and functional skills; developing and implementing individualized treatment plans; and selecting appropriate tools and strategies to support participation in self-care, play, and school-related activities. The Occupational Therapist will document assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes, and communicate regularly with families and caregivers to provide education and home program recommendations. The role also includes collaborating with other professionals when needed, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring services align with current best practices in pediatric occupational therapy. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with experience in functional assessment and treatment planning. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals. Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California. Experience providing pediatric services is beneficial. Strong documentation, time management, and organizational skills, with commitment to ethical and evidence-based practice. Salary & Benefits Competitive Compensation $70–$75 per hour, equivalent to approximately $145,600–$156,000 per year at 40 hours per week. Choose Your Work Setting Prefer working in a clinic setting? You can build your caseload around clinic-based services. Prefer working in the community? You can focus on in-home therapy. You can also choose a combination of both based on your preferences. Choose the Areas You Want to Serve We work across multiple communities (Alameda and Contra Costa Counties), and we will work with you to build a caseload in the areas that fit your preferences whenever possible. Mileage & Drive Time Paid Separately For in-home clients, mileage reimbursement and drive time are paid in addition to your hourly therapy rate, so you are not expected to absorb the cost or time of traveling between clients.
