Job Responsibilities: * Represent landlords in legal matters. * Handle collection matters diligently. * Attend and present legal arguments during hearings. * Docket time and maintain accurate records of hours spent on tasks. * Draft and dispatch closing letters and update letters to clients and relevant parties. * Adhere strictly to all dates and deadlines. * Ensure proper service of documents. * Manage and carry out the filing of legal documents and maintain organized case files. * Work independently in a fast-paced environment. * Work directly with private investigators as required. Minimum Requirements: Only candidates who meet the following minimum requirements will be contacted. * A minimum of 6 months experience with representing Clients before the Tribunal, POA and Small Claims Court. * Prior experience conducting hearings before an Ontario Board or Tribunal or prior experiencing conducting a hearing or motion before the Small Claims Court. * Advance knowledge of the Landlord and Tenant Board Rules and Guidelines. * Advanced knowledge of Collection Proceedings before the Small Claims Court. * At least 1-year office experience. * Fully licensed with the Law Society of Ontario to practice as a paralegal. * Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment with minimal oversight. * Notary Public certification is considered a significant asset. * Must be able to commute to our office in London, Ontario. Employment Terms: * Full-time position to start. * Non-negotiable October 1, 2026 start date. * Compensation will be adjusted based on experience and skills. * Room for growth and advancement.
