PHP/LAMP Developer

Job Title: Full-Stack PHP / LAMP Developer Location: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite) Duration: 12 months + potential ext We're seeking an experienced Full-Stack PHP/LAMP Developer to support our customer. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer with strong PHP/LAMP, database, API integration, and enterprise web application development experience who enjoys working across development, enhancement, maintenance, troubleshooting, and production support. What You'll Do Design, develop, enhance, support, and maintain enterprise web applications Work within a LAMP environment: Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, web services, middleware, and database components Troubleshoot application defects and resolve complex software issues Support relational database design, SQL development, and database integration Help ensure application security, data integrity, accessibility, and performance Participate throughout the SDLC, including design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and maintenance Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and users Key Technical Skills PHP / LAMP Stack Laravel, Symfony, MVC, or comparable frameworks MySQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, AJAX REST APIs, JSON, XML, Web Services GitHub, Azure DevOps, TFS / TFVC Relational database design and SQL development Application troubleshooting and production support Secure software development practices WCAG / Section 508 accessibility Active Directory or enterprise authentication technologies Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience Candidates with exposure to the following will receive additional consideration: Cloud computing and modern application architectures Enterprise architecture Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Embeddings and vector databases NoSQL databases Intelligent document processing AI-assisted software development tools Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience Minimum 2 years of programming / systems analysis experience Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
