About The Run Rx At The Run Rx, we are reshaping healthcare for runners and active individuals—making it more human-centered, proactive and built for the long term. We are a PT-owned, cash-based physical therapy and performance studio helping people recover from injury, build strength, return to activities they love and perform at a higher level. Running is central to our identity, but our clients also include lifters, recreational athletes, and active adults who want thoughtful, individualized care. Our model combines physical therapy, gait analysis, strength training, and performance coaching in a low-volume, relationship-driven setting. The Opportunity We are hiring a Physical Therapist + Performance Coach to join our team. We are open to either: A full-time position A part-time position of approximately 25–30 hours per week We are actively interviewing and hope to fill this role within the next four weeks, with a preferred start date no later than mid-September. This role is ideal for a clinician who wants to work across the full continuum from injury rehabilitation to strength, return to activity and long-term performance in a space that values long term relationships with our valued community. Responsibilities include: Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including gait analysis when appropriate Provide one-on-one physical therapy and performance sessions Develop individualized rehab, strength, and return-to-activity plans Coach movement and exercise with clear, effective and attentive cueing Educate clients about their injuries, training, and plan of care Build strong client relationships through trust and communication Maintain accurate documentation and effective case management Confidently communicate recommendations and guide clients toward the right level of care Collaborate with the team and other healthcare providers to contribute to a high-quality client experience Why You'll Love It Here True 1-on-1 care—no double bookings, high volume or aides Paid documentation and care coordination time Room for clinical growth & continued learning Mentorship in gait analysis, running rehabilitation, and strength training Competitive compensation, bonus's, PTO, student loan support, con-ed, retirement match, and optional health insurance for eligible employees Real work-life balance and a supportive, high-energy environment A fun, collaborative team that's obsessed with running & staying active The Ideal Candidate: You may be a strong fit if you: Hold a DPT and Massachusetts PT license, or are eligible for licensure Enjoy working with runners and active individuals Have strength and conditioning experience Are confident, compassionate and relationship-oriented Communicate clearly, take initiative and bring a positive energy to the workplace Value clinical growth, teamwork, and high-quality care Are comfortable practicing in an out-of-network, client-centered model Have a personal or professional connection to running Experience in gait analysis, run coaching, pelvic health, pregnancy and postpartum care, or sports rehabilitation is a plus but not required. You do not need to be an elite runner, but you should enjoy the sport and feel excited to work with runners as part of a broader active population.
