Regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), PAs collect and interpret medical information, make appropriate clinical decisions and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the CPSS.License- Certified with the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants- Membership and Licensure in good standing with the CPSS as a Physician Assistant- Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) through PACCC; or Physician Assistant - Certified (PA-C) through the NCCPA.- Valid Class 5 driver's license- Eligible for registration with CPSS (for applicants outside of Saskatchewan).Education- Successful completion of a recognized accredited PA educational program- or Completion of an accredited PA degree program recognized by PACCCCompetencies- Analytical skills - Advanced- Technical skills - Advanced- Computer skills - Intermediate- Mobilizes people, inspires and leads by example - Intermediate- Interpersonal - Advanced- Communication skills - AdvancedMembership- Canadian Association of Physician AssistantsExperience- Clinical experience working as a PA in a related clinical field, is an...For more information on this job, please visit the employer's website.
