As our service division continues to expand, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Service Plumber / Gas Fitter to join our team of dedicated professionals. Job Description: We are currently hiring a Service Plumber / Gas Fitter with proven experience in commercial service work. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of plumbing and gas-related tasks, including preventative maintenance, system repairs, plumbing fixture installations, and emergency response services. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct preventative maintenance on plumbing and gas systems in commercial and residential buildings * Service, replace, and repair boilers and hot water tanks in accordance with manufacturer specifications * Install, replace, and repair zone valves, fixtures (sinks, toilets, faucets), and other plumbing components * Utilize drain cleaning equipment including augers and inspection tools to diagnose and resolve drainage issues * Perform water line repairs and address leaks to ensure system integrity and prevent damage * Accurately document work performed, materials used, and recommendations through detailed reports and work orders * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company and industry standards * Respond to after-hours and weekend emergency service requests Qualifications: * Valid driver?s license with a clean driving abstract * Journeyman plumbing certification * Proficiency in writing service reports and work orders * Ownership of standard plumbing tools (specialized equipment provided) * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment * Availability for on-call duty outside regular business hours * Strong work ethic, professionalism, and a customer-focused attitude *Compensation & Benefits: * * Competitive wage structure * Comprehensive benefits package * Opportunities for professional development and career advancement * Supportive and inclusive workplace culture Join XCS Facility Solutions and become part of a company that values expertise, reliability, and excellence in service delivery.
