primary care paramedic

Overview We are seeking dedicated and skilled Paramedics to join our team to work with us at various industrial sites in the Saint John region. This position is part time/casual and based on needs at the sites we support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to perform under pressure in various situations. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing medical care and support for sick and injured employees in an industrial setting. Duties * Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess the situation to provide appropriate medical care. * Administer medications and treatments as required. * Collaborate with other emergency responders and site staff. * Assist in heavy lifting of patients and equipment as necessary during emergencies. * Maintain equipment and supplies in accordance with health regulations and organizational standards. Requirements * Valid license from Paramedic Association of New Brunswick * Valid drivers license * Current CPR certification * Must be willing to work all shifts (days, nights, weekends and holidays). * Valid Paramedic certification from an accredited program. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures. * Experience in emergency setting is preferred. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and site staff. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
