Principal Investigator – Internal Medicine (Part-Time) 📍 Atlanta, GA 🕒 3 Days Per Week A leading and rapidly growing clinical research organization is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join its research team as a Principal Investigator on a part-time basis. Key Responsibilities Serve as Principal Investigator on industry-sponsored clinical trials Provide medical oversight and ensure participant safety throughout study conduct Review and assess eligibility criteria, adverse events, and protocol deviations Collaborate closely with study coordinators, sponsors, and CRO partners Maintain compliance with FDA, ICH-GCP, and applicable regulatory requirements Support patient recruitment and retention initiatives where appropriate Requirements MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine Active Georgia medical license (or ability to obtain) Clinical research experience preferred, though experienced clinicians seeking to enter research are encouraged to apply Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to commit approximately three days per week on-site What's Offered Competitive compensation Flexible part-time schedule Established research infrastructure and dedicated study support staff Access to a broad range of cutting-edge clinical trials Opportunity to contribute to the advancement of innovative therapies while maintaining clinical flexibility Show more Show less
