Technical Product Manager (AI & Patient Activation) Location: Remote/Hybrid Industry: Healthcare Technology / Life Sciences Employment Type: Full-Time About the Opportunity We're partnering with an innovative healthcare technology organization that is leveraging AI and data-driven solutions to improve patient engagement, clinical trial recruitment, and commercial operations within the life sciences industry. This is a unique opportunity for a Technical Product Manager who enjoys operating at the intersection of product strategy, technology, and customer engagement. You'll play a key role in both the company's emerging AI product initiatives and its established patient recruitment platform, helping drive product vision, execution, and adoption in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a lean team, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and is equally comfortable discussing product strategy with executives, collaborating with engineers, and presenting solutions to clients. What You'll Do Product Strategy & Roadmap Own product initiatives from discovery through delivery and adoption. Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with business objectives. Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for innovation and product expansion. Drive prioritization decisions across competing business and customer needs. AI Product Development Support the development of AI-powered internal and client-facing solutions. Work closely with technical teams to define requirements, evaluate opportunities, and bring new products to market. Help shape product strategy for emerging AI initiatives and future platform capabilities. Participate in product discovery, experimentation, and validation efforts. Patient Activation Platform Serve as a product leader for a patient recruitment and engagement platform supporting clinical trial initiatives. Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to identify enhancements and solve business challenges. Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences. Support customization, implementation, and ongoing product evolution. Cross-Functional Leadership Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, commercial teams, and executive leadership. Drive execution across multiple concurrent initiatives. Manage product documentation, requirements, and release planning. Lead and mentor a small team while fostering accountability and collaboration. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 5+ years of Product Management experience in a technical environment. Experience within life sciences, healthcare technology, pharma, or commercial operations. Proven ability to own products from concept through delivery. Strong experience working directly with engineering and technical teams. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated success operating in fast-paced, evolving environments. Strong organizational and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Technical Background Technical foundation in software development, computer science, engineering, or related disciplines. Working knowledge of: Python SQL Modern web technologies (React, Node.js preferred) Ability to contribute technically through requirements definition, solution design discussions, prototyping, or hands-on problem solving. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AI, machine learning, or data-driven products. Healthcare SaaS or clinical trial technology experience. Consulting or client-facing product experience. Experience managing direct reports or leading cross-functional teams. Familiarity with CRM or workflow platforms such as Zoho. Success in This Role In your first 6-12 months, you will: Assume ownership of existing product initiatives and drive them forward successfully. Partner with leadership to shape and execute the AI product roadmap. Enhance and evolve the Patient Activation platform to meet client and business needs. Lead cross-functional collaboration across technical and business teams. Help deliver innovative solutions that improve patient recruitment, engagement, and operational efficiency. Why This Role?
