About this Role The Product Manager actively oversees software development and implementation projects through the initiation, analysis, execution, and implementation phases. This role engages with cross-functional and multi-national sales, business, and technology team members throughout the product lifecycle—developing and documenting business requirements for software development and delivery teams, as well as the basis for test cases used by QA to ensure solutions meet original business requirements. The Product Manager drives Product Innovation objectives and manages the current product backlog. This role may or may not include people management responsibilities depending on team structure and organizational needs. Key Result Areas Define the product vision and create a product roadmap grounded in payer operational realities Develop deep product knowledge with a focus on provider lifecycle management workflows including credentialing and contracting Manage the product backlog by anticipating client needs through forums with delivery, support, and internal stakeholders—prioritizing features that drive measurable outcomes Drive Product Innovation objectives and release content (release notes, product documentation) via prioritized features following Agile best practices Champion AI-forward thinking: proactively identify opportunities to incorporate artificial intelligence and automation into the platform, translating innovative concepts into actionable product features Oversee development stages of the product and take full responsibility for the implementation of assigned features Partner with technical teams to author clear, actionable user stories and use cases Maintain and update functional test cases for features and functions per sprint, Program Increment, and release Participate in and drive user group meetings and committees Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for customers and internal stakeholders on product questions, requests, and issues When applicable, manage a team of Business Analysts—performing reviews, delegating tasks, and providing guidance on best practices Stay current on needs across all sectors of the healthcare payer industry, including regulatory changes, competitive dynamics, and emerging technology trends Prioritize bringing a competitive, innovative product to market quickly Serve as an introduction to the Product Manager role; performs all core PM functions at an appropriately scoped level To Thrive in This Role Requirements Leadership skills and the ability to delegate tasks to junior team members (where a team is assigned) Superior communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work across teams, results-oriented, creative, and entrepreneurial Ambitious, motivated self-starter with high energy and a collaborative personality High level of integrity and reliability Innovative mindset with a demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and surface ideas that improve product quality, user experience, and operational efficiency Foundational understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and genuine curiosity about how AI can be leveraged to enhance healthcare technology platforms Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; technical degrees preferred Experience in the healthcare payer industry required—with a strong preference for candidates with hands-on exposure to provider credentialing, provider contracting, or broader payer ecosystem operations Familiarity with provider lifecycle management concepts (credentialing workflows, PSV, NCQA/URAC standards, network management, or provider contracting) is a significant differentiator 6–8+ years of customer-facing or operational experience in healthcare settings preferred MBA preferred What We Offer A great place to work with equal opportunity and fast-track growth Global working exposure in a fast-paced, product-led organization On-demand certifications and training
