(MAPSWS) is a provincial non-profit organization committed to promoting careers in the skilled trades while fostering inclusive and welcoming workplaces across New Brunswick. Through our four provincial programs, NB-MAP, New Boots, First in Trades (FIT), and the Skilled Trades Exploration Program (STEP), we connect New Brunswickers with career opportunities, build strong industry partnerships, and support the growth of a diverse skilled trades workforce.We are currently seeking a part-time New Boots Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will coordinate and deliver the New Boots: Progressing Women+ in Skilled Trades program throughout New Brunswick.New Boots is a provincial initiative that encourages girls and women+ to explore careers in the skilled trades through hands-on activities, mentorship, networking, career exploration, and employer engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesPromote and advocate for skilled trades career pathways to girls, women+, and youth throughout New Brunswick.Support the growth of the New Boots network by engaging participants, mentors, employers, and industry partners while connecting members with employment opportunities, hands-on workshops, networking events, and visits to post-secondary institutions.Deliver presentations and represent MAPSWS at career fairs, schools, conferences, industry events, and community organizations.Plan, coordinate, and facilitate hands-on skilled trades activities in schools across New Brunswick. This is a core responsibility of the position and requires extensive planning, regular travel, transporting program materials, setting up activities, and engaging with students throughout the province.Success in this role requires confidence working directly with youth, speaking in front of groups, and representing the organization throughout New Brunswick.Contribute to regular content creation and management of social media platforms (ie: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with government departments, employers, industry associations, unions, educational institutions, community organizations, and New Boots network members.Prepare quarterly reports and maintain accurate program documentation and records.Collaborate in the planning and delivery of MAPSWS events, including conferences, career fairs, workshops, school activities, networking events, and community outreach initiatives.Collaborate with the Executive Director and MAPSWS team to support strategic initiatives and ensure the successful delivery of program objectives.Carry out other duties as assigned.Essential QualificationsApplicants must clearly demonstrate how they meet the following qualifications:University degree, college diploma, Red Seal certification, or current apprenticeship in a designated skilled trade.Preferred areas of study include Skilled Trades, Education, Social Sciences, Communications, Marketing, Career Development, or related disciplines.Valid Class 5 driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle.Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout New Brunswick, including regular overnight travel.Ability to obtain a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.Asset QualificationsPreference may be given to candidates who possess one or more of the following:Bilingualism (English and French, both written and spoken).Knowledge of New Br
