Prompt Engineer | $65/hr Remote

Position: AI Rater Guidelines Writer Type: Contingent Role Compensation: $45-$65 per hour Location: United States Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week Role Responsibilities Guide research and program teams to close the gap between ambiguous program requirements and rater-ready instructions. Design clear, non-contradictory rating guidelines and rubrics for consistent application by raters. Evaluate and revise draft guidelines for ambiguity, internal contradiction, and coverage gaps. Translate program specifications into precise, discipline-specific rater instructions. Collaborate with subject matter experts and program leads to ensure consistency and accuracy across guideline sets. Requirements Have strong relevant experience in linguistics, instructional design, or technical writing. Demonstrated ability to work across multiple subject-matter domains and translate domain-specific nuance into clear instructions. Strong track record of resolving ambiguity and contradiction in written specifications. Demonstrable career progression. Ability to engage reliably for at least 35 hours/week during weekdays.
