PROMPT ENGINEER — CONTRACT ROLE | Website & AI Products | 100% Remote Please Read Before Applying This is a fully remote contract role requiring your complete, undivided attention for the duration of the engagement. We are a fast-moving team that ships quickly and iterates constantly. Due to the nature of our work, this role will regularly require availability outside of traditional working hours — including evenings and weekends. If you are currently juggling other contracts or commitments, this role is not the right fit. About the Role We are hiring an experienced Prompt Engineer on a dedicated contract basis to lead the rapid design and delivery of websites using Lovable and similar AI-powered web builders. This is a website-first role — your primary output will be fully functional, polished websites built at speed. You will work inside a high-velocity team where priorities shift quickly, deadlines are tight, and delivery is expected without hand-holding. We ship constantly — including outside of standard business hours — and need a contractor who is genuinely available, highly responsive, and able to execute at pace. Evenings and weekend work will be required at times, and the right candidate will embrace this as part of the role. Responsibilities: Website Building with Lovable & AI Tools Design and build complete, production-ready websites using Lovable as the primary development environment Use Framer, Webflow, or similar AI-assisted web tools where appropriate Write precise prompts to generate clean layouts, responsive components, navigation, landing pages, and multi-page site structures Rapidly iterate on websites based on stakeholder feedback — often within the same working day Manage multiple website projects in parallel without sacrificing quality Prompt Engineering for Web Output Develop and optimise prompts specifically for website generation — layout, copy placeholders, component hierarchy, and responsive behaviour Build a reusable prompt library for common website patterns: landing pages, product pages, contact forms, pricing tables, blogs, and portfolios Test and evaluate prompt outputs systematically, knowing when AI-generated code needs refinement or manual override Stay current with Lovable updates and integrate new capabilities into your workflow as they ship Availability & Collaboration Be available outside standard working hours when project demands require it, including evenings and weekends Respond to briefs and feedback quickly — we operate on short turnaround cycles, not weeks-long sprints Communicate proactively on progress and blockers Work directly with stakeholders to translate website briefs into delivered sites Qualifications: Proven experience building and shipping websites with Lovable — a portfolio of live sites is required Familiarity with Framer, Webflow, or comparable AI-assisted website platforms Strong prompt engineering skills applied to website creation: layout, copy, responsiveness, and component structure Ability to work independently at pace without step-by-step guidance Genuine flexibility around working hours — comfortable with evenings and weekends when required Fully dedicated to this contract with no concurrent full-time roles or conflicting commitments Reliable remote setup: fast internet, consistent availability, clear communication Required Skills Experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI) to add AI-powered features to websites Basic front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript) to review or extend Lovable-generated code Background in agency or startup environments where speed and quality must coexist Show more Show less
