QA Functional / Manual Tester

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Functional / Manual Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating software applications through functional and manual testing, ensuring that products meet business requirements and quality standards before release. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working in Agile development environments. Key Responsibilities Review business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation. Develop comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases. Perform manual functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing. Validate application functionality against business requirements. Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using defect management tools. Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and QA team members. Participate in requirement reviews and sprint planning sessions. Execute regression testing for new releases and production fixes. Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing. Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing progress and quality metrics. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities when required. Ensure software releases meet established quality standards.
