Ashburn, VA / Remote Current FDA Badge Required Blu Omega is seeking a QA Test Engineer to support a federal program focused on data validation and workflow testing within the FDA’s Regulated Product Submission (RPS) program. This role operates in a remote environment and is responsible for executing functional, integration, and data verification tests. The position requires experience supporting testing efforts in a mission-driven environment, with a focus on data accuracy, integrity, and consistency. Program Overview Program: FDA Regulated Product Submission (RPS) program Mission overview: Supports electronic submission frameworks for drugs and biologics, improving review efficiency and lifecycle management of regulatory data. Key Details: Remote work environment, 1-year contract Location: Ashburn, VA / Remote Clearance: Current FDA badge required Work Authorization: Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future Responsibilities Execute manual and automated testing, including functional, integration, and data verification tests. Support test strategy, test data, test scripts, and release artifacts for development and maintenance releases. Identify opportunities for test automation using tools such as Selenium and AI-assisted development tools. Validate data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems, including source-to-target data verification. Perform data migration testing, focusing on straightforward datasets with some exposure to complex data scenarios. Support performance testing with tools like JMeter or LoadRunner, with a focus on load, stress, and scalability testing. Document test results, defects, and create test reports. Contribute to continuous process improvement and best practices in QA. Required Qualifications 6+ years of hands-on application testing and test script development. 3+ years of experience with database schemas, entity-relationship diagrams, and data verification. 3+ years of experience with web service verification tools such as Postman or SoapUI. 3+ years of experience with database query tools like PostgreSQL or DBeaver. 3+ years of experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium. 3+ years of experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. Ability to translate functional and data requirements into SQL procedures and functions. Experience supporting automated testing, usability testing, and accessibility tools (e.g., WAVE, NVDA). Ability to work within Agile teams. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of programming languages such as Python. Experience with collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence. Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex). Compensation Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000 Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance. #CJ
