Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Title: QA Automation Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite) Duration: Long Term Contract Looking Only Local Candidates on W2 - No C2C !!! We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in the Karate Framework to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API automation, functional testing, regression testing, and CI/CD integration, with the ability to work closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Minimum 7+ Years of work experience with bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent. QA Automation Engineer utilizing the karate Framework. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Karate Framework. Create and execute API automation tests for RESTful services. Develop reusable test utilities, data-driven test scenarios, and framework enhancements. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.). Collaborate with development and business teams to understand requirements and define test strategies. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues. Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and agile ceremonies. Ensure test coverage for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
