Job Title: Quality Assurance Automation Engineer Location: United States (Remote) Job Type: Full-Time Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify testing requirements, improve testing processes, and enhance overall product quality. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and define effective test strategies. Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test documentation. Identify, document, track, and verify software defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid deployments. Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on product quality and release readiness. Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and quality processes. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release activities. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation. Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestComplete . Strong programming experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# . Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Experience with version control systems such as Git . Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Relevant QA certifications are a plus.
