Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

This is a W2 requirement, Need independent candidates (USC/ GC), and local to CT only. We are seeking a hands-on QA Automation Tester with strong experience in both automation and manual testing to support large-scale enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions while ensuring software quality, performance, scalability, security, and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, backend, and integration testing. Execute manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, performance, and accessibility testing. Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and Agile teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria. Manage test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting using Azure DevOps. Support CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing initiatives. Required Skills: 5+ years of QA Automation and Manual Testing experience. Strong experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans). Expertise in UFT (Unified Functional Testing) , VBScript, or similar automation tools/languages. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and enterprise application testing. Knowledge of API testing (REST/SOAP), SQL, CI/CD , and test automation frameworks. Experience with .NET applications, Salesforce, SharePoint, and web services is preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SOAPUI, C#, JavaScript, XML/JSON, WCF, and .NET Framework.
