Quality Assurance Engineer Hiring Process : Mandatory In person Interview 12+ Months Contract · Analyze business requirements and technical designs for testability and traceability. · Participate in test planning, estimating, and scheduling. Develop test plans covering functional, system integration, and regression testing. · Design both manual and automated test cases and scripts. · Utilize appropriate tools for the development and execution of manual and automated test cases and scripts. · Diagnose, document, help troubleshoot, and isolate bugs and issues encountered during testing • Must be able to plan, organize and direct automation activities to achieve maximum operational efficiency in meeting department and company, goals, and objectives • Experienced in developing test strategies and planning approaches for manual and automated testing • Ability to create and execute automated test scripts and report on test execution status • Experienced in writing software defect reports • The ability to communicate on a technical as well as a non-technical level • Experience/knowledge of the Mortgage Servicing and/or prior banking experience a plus • Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies • Experience building an automation program is preferred • Experience with working on applications built in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) • Understanding of SQL DB and ability to run SQL queries • A Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science, MIS or related technical discipline (or a combination of education and experience) Show more Show less
