QA Automation Engineer (Java / Selenium) Location: Raleigh, NC (3-4 Days Onsite – Non-Negotiable) Position Type: Contract (W2 Only) Experience Level: 7+ Years Key Responsibilities Framework Development: Architect, build, and deploy scalable test automation frameworks from scratch using Java and Selenium. API Testing: Design and execute automated test scripts for backend service validation using Rest Assured. End-to-End Automation: Own the entire automation lifecycle for complex applications, shifting testing left and ensuring high-quality releases. Independent Execution: Act as a standalone automation expert—analyzing requirements, identifying automation candidates, writing scripts, and troubleshooting framework bottlenecks independently. Test Maintenance: Maintain, optimize, and refactor existing codebases and test suites to ensure stability and reduce flakiness.
