Quality Assurance Engineer

Basic Qualifications: 1).- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years of automotive experience, OR 7+ years of related automotive experience. 2).-Experience in the Automotive Industry working in a Tier 1 company is required ( Molding, Assembly, Injection Molding, and Extrusion are a plus 3).-ISO 9001+ IATF 16949 Knowledge 4).-Problem-solving tool + Customer Specific Problem-Solving Tool and Preventive actions ( 5 Whys + 8Ds) 5).-PPAP Requirements for submission for product modification 6).-Knowledge of Quality Core Tools like Process Capability, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plans, and GD&T 7).-Experience performing Process and Product Audits 8).-Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT) and automotive customer portals. Experience with Minitab or SPC software is a plus. 9).-Creation and correction of Standardized Work Instructions 10).- Knowledge of Lean Tools ( 5’s, Kaizen, PDCA, and Poka Yoke, ) 11).-Negotiation skills 12).-A team player, capable of working cross-functionally to determine practical solutions to operational issues 13).- Excellent communication skills, including strong ability to negotiate quality standards and deviations with both customers and suppliers.
