Quality Engineer

We are seeking a Quality Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing to support end-to-end quality assurance for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Selenium/Playwright, Appium, REST API testing, SQL, and Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications. Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium (Java) or Playwright (TypeScript) , Appium , and REST APIs . Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. Participate in Agile ceremonies, validate user stories, and ensure release quality. Execute backend data validation using SQL and manage defects through JIRA/qTest. Utilize AI-assisted testing capabilities to improve test automation and execution efficiency. Review automation code, mentor junior QA engineers, and drive QA best practices. Required Skills 3–5 years of experience in manual and automation testing. Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Appium, REST API Testing, and SQL . Proficiency in Java, TypeScript, Python, or C# . Experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, JIRA, and qTest . Knowledge of customer journey testing, authentication, payments, order management, and backend integrations. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Preferred: Experience with Test Grid, Tosca, cloud-based testing platforms, and AI-assisted testing tools.
