Description
Position: Radiology Location: Oakland, CA Responsibilities: Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, DEXA, and mammograms. Analyze patient medical histories and symptoms to determine appropriate imaging techniques. Consult with referring physicians to discuss patient cases and provide recommendations for further diagnostic testing or treatment. Ensure the quality and accuracy of imaging results by adhering to established protocols and guidelines. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans based on imaging findings. Perform clinical and patient care duties in a prompt and professional manner consistent with professional clinical and ethical standards applicable to the geographic area in which the services are provided and consistent with high quality of care standards. Provide guidance, instruction, didactics, and knowhow to residents, fellows, trainees, and students who will be furthering their educational objectives and requirements in live settings. Comply with governmental and accreditation regulations. Stay up to date with advancements in radiology technology and techniques. Educ./experience: Requires a Medical Degree (M.D.) degree, or foreign equivalent and a valid and current medical license to practice medicine in the State of California.
