Job Title: Senior Mobile Engineer – React Native Company: Abbott – Lingo Location: Alameda, CA Visa: Any Visa Industry: Consumer Health / Digital Health Job Summary Abbott Lingo is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to build and enhance consumer-facing iOS and Android applications using React Native . The role involves mobile architecture, performance optimization, native module integration, and connected-health/BLE experiences. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain React Native applications for iOS and Android. Design scalable mobile architecture and optimize app performance. Work with React Native New Architecture, JSI, Fabric, and TurboModules . Integrate native iOS/Android modules, SDKs, and BLE/CGM devices . Implement unit, integration, and E2E testing. Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams. Participate in code reviews and mobile CI/CD/release processes. Required Skills 5+ years software engineering experience. 3+ years hands-on React Native experience in production applications. Strong React, JavaScript/TypeScript, state management, and mobile architecture skills. Experience with iOS/Android fundamentals and native modules . Strong mobile performance optimization and testing experience. Preferred Swift/Kotlin, BLE, CGM/biosensors, healthcare/digital health, Core ML/TensorFlow Lite, mobile CI/CD.
