Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chattanooga, TN, for a Registered Nurse at CHI Memorial. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and implementing evidence-based practices. Tasks include conducting patient assessments, developing care plans, administering medications and treatments, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role also requires ensuring patient safety, educating patients and their families, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the unit. Qualifications Strong clinical skills, including patient assessment, medication administration, and care plan development Effective communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and accurate documentation Understanding of evidence-based practices and commitment to patient safety Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment Experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is encouraged but not mandatory
