registered pharmacy technician

Must be registered and in good standing with OCP as a Registered Pharmacy Technician. Main Duties include: * Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling * Data entry of patient care information into Kroll * Third Party adjudication where required and necessary * Accurate dispensing prescription medications * Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems * General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary * Handling customer prescription pick up * Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy * Checking blister packaging * Assisting with compounding prescriptions * Vaccinations (COVID-19 & Flushots) * Compression Stocking & Brace Fitting * Blister package checking and managing automation Requirements for the job: * Registered with the corresponding provincial licensing college, where applicable in the province seeking employment, in good standing * Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or certification from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program * Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation * Strong communication skills * Demonstrated customer service experience * Strong motivation to succeed * Proficient computer/data/entry skills * Kroll experience an asset * Compounding experience/training an asset * Vaccination Training is an asset Benefits: * Vacation & paid time off * Dental care * Vision care * Extended health care Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $50,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * Store discount * Vision care Experience: * pharmacy: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
